A Play For The Elements
by Louanne Robinson

Storm clouds are gathered,
Darkness incringed,

But the rain sings a message:

The wheat will be gathered
The chaff burnt away
The storm will not last
there comes a new day.

And the wind sings in unison:

Endure little children
The trials will soon pay
The clouds t'will be parted
There comes a new day.

The sun broke through laughing:

Enter into the rest
The dog is at bay
He's chased o'er the brink
There comes a new day

The son smiled and beckoned
"Come unto me"
