- A Play For The Elements
- by Louanne Robinson
-
- Storm clouds are gathered,
- Darkness incringed,
-
- But the rain sings a message:
-
- The wheat will be gathered
- The chaff burnt away
- The storm will not last
- there comes a new day.
-
- And the wind sings in unison:
-
- Endure little children
- The trials will soon pay
- The clouds t'will be parted
- There comes a new day.
-
- The sun broke through laughing:
-
- Enter into the rest
- The dog is at bay
- He's chased o'er the brink
- There comes a new day
-
- The son smiled and beckoned
- "Come unto me"
