The Comforter
by Louanne Robinson

A meteoric shower of soft atoms,
Playing amidst the hair
on the nape of neck.

A slow cascade of warm,
Undulating and coating
an expectant upturned face

A radiant Sonburst,
Starting at inner core
And rippling outward to heat
the furthest extremities.

I feel his name
Jesus...
